Bill’s work with Blue Sky Rental Studios, Delzell Photography, and LightGrid® has led to over 27,500 unique customer experiences in Northern California’s creative community. Bill has decades of experience in team-building as a photographer, director, producer, and educator.

Bill co-founded Discursive Media Commons, a lab at Stanford University, exploring Neurodiversity in media with the principal investigator and Stanford Philosophy Professor Ken Taylor. Bill contributed to the founding of Moonshots in Education with Esther Wojcicki, where LightGrid® was an active learning resource for students in the San Francisco Bay Area. Esther Wojcicki selected LightGrid® to be its first technology partner. In 2015 Bill created a time-lapse sequence in LightGrid® illustrating the corrosive effects of climate change for the feature film Racing Extinction. The work was projected on the UN building during the Climate Summit and subsequently shown that year at the 88th Academy Awards ceremony. TED Conference curator Chris Anderson said, “LightGrid® takes a big step towards the democratization of media” when Bill presented LightGrid® in 2012. His TEDx talk in 2020 at Westmoor High School was titled “Procrastinators Paradise, Life as a Non-Essential Worker” and was met with an enthusiastic audience.

Samuel Vasquez

Samuel Vasquez is an accomplished first-generation college graduate from San Francisco State University, becoming the first in his family to attend and graduate from college. He was awarded a scholarship by Facebook through the Peninsula College Fund Scholarship.

Samuel provides consulting, photography, videography, and graphic design services to a diverse range of organizations and individuals, including clients like 23andMe, Esther Wojcicki, Peninsula College Fund, East Palo Alto City Hall, and La Iglesia Apostolica de la Fe en Cristo Jesus.

Samuel is a devoted community member who actively contributes to various causes he believes in. He sits on the board of Rise Together Education, a non-profit organization that awards scholarships to low-income students from Palo Alto High School.

Since 2015, Samuel has also been volunteering at EPA Apostolic Church, where he started as an audio engineer and rose through the ranks to become the leader of the social media and marketing team in 2023. In this role, he oversees all aspects of the church’s online presence, including its website and social media platforms.

Samuel’s passion for education and community-building is reflected in his diverse experiences. He taught at Stanford’s D.school for the Pre-Collegiate Summer Program in 2017, where he co-led a course on Context and Design that attracted international students.

Jotham King

Jotham joined the team to champion Who Shot Me – Stories Unprocessed, driving strategic marketing through targeted promotions, social media, and community outreach. His efforts boosted engagement, built momentum, and secured full funding for the campaign.

Kathryn Kavanaugh

Kavanaugh, recipient of U.S. National Science Foundation grant, employs cinema as an intermediary to evoke empathy and discourse. Her keen and holistic attention to detail builds strong communication skills.

Her determination is encased in empathy and the pursuit of diversity, equity, and inclusion. She teaches innovation through Design Thinking and Produces at the intersection of Learning, Design, and Cinema. She directs Screen360.tv, a start-up providing a cost-effective way to address the 56.6Mil US K-12 learners, exponential numbers globally, who face increasingly global requirements and the 156 K US schools/ who must present global education. COVID folded learners into households creating a broader use case for Screen360. Stanford Peace Innovation named Screen360 a Positive Peace Technology.

Drama and Film teacher at Natomas Charter School. Rick is the co-founder of Hands-On Productions, a film company that trains camera actors through project-based learning a produces original film and television.

He created and hosted the magazine-style show, “T Making Of…” and directed a children’s television show, “Cyber’s Web”, which both aired regularly on The Computer Television Network. Rick also directed Natomas Charter School’s production of “Convergence,” which was performed at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Responsibilities include Project management and advisory roles with the internship program.
